Terms of Service

Last updated: March 30, 2026

What VideoSplit Is

VideoSplit is a free browser-based tool that extracts audio tracks from video files. It is provided by Owlvin Industries ("we", "us") as part of the MusicSplit suite of audio tools.

How It Works

VideoSplit runs entirely in your browser. When you drop a video file, your browser decodes the audio track locally and lets you download it as WAV or MP3. No files are uploaded to our servers. We provide the code; your device does the processing.

Acceptable Use

You may use VideoSplit for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all rights to your video and audio files. We never access, store, or claim any rights to your content.

Our service: The VideoSplit name, design, and code are owned by Owlvin Industries. You may not copy or redistribute the site itself.

No Warranty

VideoSplit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

Since all processing happens on your device, results depend on your browser's media decoding capabilities.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owlvin Industries shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of VideoSplit. This is a free tool with no service-level agreement.

Third-Party Libraries

VideoSplit uses open-source libraries (lamejs for MP3 encoding, FileSaver.js for downloads) loaded from jsDelivr CDN. These are subject to their own licenses (LGPL and MIT, respectively).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page for the latest version.

Related Products

VideoSplit is part of the MusicSplit suite. Other products (DrumSplit, VocalSplit) have their own terms.
